Central Florida Casting Call:
How to Prepare:
After you complete your application, we will contact you about in-person interview times and information about dress fittings. Come in with an energetic attitude, makeup done, and hair wig-ready! You'll be able to show your talents by engaging in guided scenarios and group interactions in addition to your dress fitting.
What to Expect:
- It is recommended to be 15 minutes early for your scheduled dress fitting time slot.
- Fitting time slots takes around 15–20 minutes with time afterward for questions.
- Actors are notified via email with the results of their application progress, regardless of the results.
What to Bring:
- A current headshot
- Form-fitting clothes (tank top and leggings is strongly recommended)
- Makeup for touch-ups
- A resume

How does show scheduling work?
Actors submit requests for show dates based on their individual availability. Casting is based on experience and availability.
If I am accepted for callbacks and cannot make it to the scheduled time, is there an alternative for next steps?
Scheduling conflicts should be communicated to the director and alternate dates and times will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
What are we looking for?
We’re searching for passionate performers with kind hearts and big imaginations to join our elite cast of professional princesses. In this role, you will spark awe and imagination for families and children from all backgrounds and demographics in your local area. Immersioneers (the name we give our performers) perform a mixture of pre-scripted material and spontaneous improvisation that makes our experience both memorable and unique.
American Immersion Theater hosts both public and private shows, and audience sizes can range from eight to eight hundred people. We frequently travel to show locations, reimburse for gas and lodging on any travel show. Many performances occur on weekends, but weekday performances are not rare. Immersioneers pick which shows they want to do, and scheduling is flexible. As an immersioneer, you have the power to select which shows you’re available for, as few or as plentiful as you’d like. Rehearsals are required and paid.

- Ability to deliver great customer experiences in a child-centered environment and the capacity to be invigorated by constant personal interaction
- A high ability to adapt while facilitating princess party activities
- Excellent communication and reading skills that allow you to converse as freely and comfortably with children and adults.
- A strong presence and ability to command the room
- Observational savvy and quick thinking

Compensation
Princess actor pay ranges from $65 per show (depending upon performance type). Additionally, you can earn show tips, free meals, and travel reimbursement, which means no out of pocket expenses.
